A typical still life painting using traditional subject matter. This still life was inspired by a photograph of objects which would typically be found in a study. This painting is also part of a series of still life paintings which are all related in some way.

This painting won 2nd Place at the Henderson County Art Show, April 2008, in Athens TX.
