About Bluemoon

Made by artists,
for artists.

Our story

We are printmakers, painters, and photographers who also happen to build websites. Bluemoon began not as a business plan, but as a solution to a problem we lived ourselves: needing a professional online presence without a professional budget.

The web design industry was not built with artists in mind. Agencies quote thousands for sites artists don't need. Template platforms offer a kind of flexibility that never quite fits a creative practice. And the whole thing — the briefs, the jargon, the back-and-forth — feels designed to keep artists at arm's length.

"We know what it's like to have important work and no idea how to show it to the world."

We built Bluemoon to close that gap. We offer honest pricing, clean design, and a process that doesn't require you to become a tech expert. You send us your images, your words, your ideas. We do the rest.

We understand that for most artists, a website isn't a passion project — it's infrastructure. It should work quietly in the background, letting your work speak. It shouldn't take months, cost a fortune, or leave you dependent on a developer for every small change.

Our clients are painters, ceramicists, photographers, illustrators, printmakers, sculptors, textile artists — anyone who makes things seriously and needs a place on the internet that reflects that seriousness. We take that responsibility seriously, too.

How we work
01

Honest pricing

We publish our prices because you shouldn't have to send an email just to find out if something is affordable. What you see is what you pay.

02

Work-first design

Our websites are designed to put your practice first. No visual noise, no unnecessary complexity. The design serves the art, not the other way around.

03

Artist-paced process

We know artists work differently. We accommodate the tempo of a studio practice — no aggressive deadlines, no jargon-filled briefing documents, no pressure.
